We updated the PS&R revenue codes assignments section, to clean up the PS&R "Xwalk" assignment methodology. There were two updates made to this section to assist users with accurately reporting the charges from the PS&R without the user needing to make manual adjustments outside of Absolute. The following updates were made:
The first update automatically excludes Overhead and Non-Reimbursables lines from Medicare PS&R Revenue assignments, and excludes routine lines from all Outpatient revenue allocations.
The second update allows the users to exclude ancillary revenue codes from being assigned to routine lines in PS&R crosswalk. This update is an optional feature for users, which is located in the Report Settings page in Absolute. To select this feature, take the following steps:
- Go to the Report Settings page for the report being worked on.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Report Settings page. Under the "Additional Setup Details" section, users have the option to select the new feature by checking the box next to "Exclude ancillary revenue codes from being assigned to routine lines in PS&R crosswalk."
Note: If Worksheet C is already marked complete prior to this option being selected, the user will need to go into Worksheet C, reapply the last reclass, and mark Worksheet C complete again in order for this option to be taken into account on the PS&R revenue codes assignments section.
