Worksheet S-10

S-10 External Values

The Worksheet S-10 section in Absolute consists of all external values. Once external values are entered in the appropriate fields, external values must be saved by clicking Save S-10 External Values at the bottom of the interface before clicking Mark External Values Complete to complete this stage.

HFS Flow-Through Fields

Please note the following lines will be calculated by HFS and are therefore not available for input in Absolute:

• Line 1 Cost to charge ratio 
• Line 7 Medicaid Cost
• Line 8 Difference between net revenue and costs for Medicaid program
• Line 11 Stand-alone CHIP cost
• Line 12 Difference between net revenue and costs for stand-alone CHIP
• Line 15 State or local indigent care program cost
• Line 16 Difference between net revenue and costs for state or local indigent care program
• Line 19 Total unreimbursed cost for Medicaid, CHIP, and state and local indigent care prgram
• Line 21 Cost of patients approved for charity care and uninsured discounts
• Line 23 Cost of charity care
• Lines 27 - 31 Summary of bad debt expense and cost of uncompensated care
