Dashboard

Overview


The Cost Report Dashboard is a hub allowing access to all aspects of the report. The dashboard is broken down into tabs for Preparation, Results, Exports, HFS Data, and Checklist & Utilities.

 

Preparation


The preparation tab is for actual preparation of the cost report. It is organized according to cost report preparation workflow

Preparation sections:

The preparation workflow is broken down into sections. By default each section displays as a closed bar displaying its overall status.

To open a section, click the bar. The section opens displaying all related preparation stages.

To close a section, click the title bar of the open section.

 

 

Section status overview


Arrow Open The section contains one or more stages ready to be worked on that are not completed.
Checkbox Complete All accessible stages in the section are complete
Alert Alert One or more stages in the section has encountered an error or needs to be reprocessed.
Lock Inaccessible All stages in the section are currently inaccessible.

 

 

Preparation Stages


The preparation stages of a section display in a vertical list and are generally worked on in order from top to bottom. If a stage is available to be worked on, the stage name may be clicked on to access it. The status of a stage is indicated by the icon next to the stage name.

 

 

Stage status overview


Arrow Open All prerequisites have been satisfied, and the stage is available to be worked on.
Lock Inaccessible Prerequisites have not been met. The stage is currently inaccessible.
Busy Processing The stage is currently being processed. It cannot be accessed until the process completes.
Checked Complete The stage has successfully been completed.
Action Reprocessing        Required The data in the stage is out of date as a result of changes to a prerequisite. The stage will need to be re-executed when its prerequisites have been met.
Error  Error An error occurred while processing this stage.
Lock Locked The stage has been locked by a supervisor. If applicable, the stage may be viewed, but cannot be updated.

 

Note: If a stage has been completed, you may still make changes to it. However, these changes will affect stages which depend on it. All dependent stages must be revisited.

If a section contains a stage which contains a series of reclasses or adjustments, a list of links to each is displayed.

 

 

Results


The Results tab houses links to view the results of prepared portions of the cost report. These are read only views often used for review. It is organized according to CMS Form 2552-10 Cost Report worksheet order.

An active results view can be accessed by clicking on the link. Inactive results views cannot be accessed until their related preparation stages have been completed.

 

Filtering results:

Results may be filtered by type: Worksheets and Other. Uncheck a checkbox to filter out that type of result.

 

 

Exports


Exports for a report are accessible via the dashboard under the Exports tab.

The Exports tab displays formatted workpapers, raw data, and analysis data that may be exported. The various exports are organized according to CMS Form 2552-10 Cost Report worksheet order.

Exports whose related preparation stages have been completed display a file type button for each exportable file type. Click a file type button to generate the export. Inactive exports cannot be accessed until their related preparation stages have been completed.

 

Filtering exports:

Exports may be filtered by type: Workpapers and CSV Data and Analysis. Uncheck a checkbox to filter out that type of export.

 

HFS Data


The HFS Data tab allows the exporting of data for import into HFS.

Export AAI file:

To export the AAI file for HFS, click the AAI button.

 

Checklist & Utilities


The Checklist & Utilities tab allows access to the review checklist and Three Year MCRX Comparison.

 

gear Settings:  Click the settings icon in the upper right area of the page to open the settings dialogue.
Prep sections:  By default, only one preparation section opens at a time. You may alter this behavior by selecting the Leave Open option. You must have cookies enabled for this preference to be stored.
star Favorite a report:  Click the favorite icon in the upper right area of the page to add the report as a favorite. Favorite reports can later be quickly accessed via My Account > My Reports.
Notifications:

Notifications display in the upper right corner of the dashboard.

The details of a notification can be shown by clicking the notification title.

To dismiss a notification, click the X. All active notifications can be viewed under My Account > Notifications regardless of whether or not it has been dismissed.
